insights, stories & healing

in practice

Welcome to my blog.

A space where I share real-life stories, case studies, and practical wisdom from my work in integrative health.

Here, you’ll find educational resources, honest reflections on complex conditions, and glimpses of what healing can look like in practice.

This is a loaded question — patients need both the support that comes with the day-to-day mental load of being sick and the help to get to the root of why physical dis-ease developed in the first place — their emotional burden.

Here are some of my favorite tools for supporting my clients in the day-to-day. Addressing the roots needs a qualified mental health professional that can guide you properly and is not something I can do.

Emotional Tools to Explore

Somatic Exercises

Stephan Porges and Irene Lyons are some of my favorite teachers to learn from!

EFT Tapping

Lots of free guided videos on YouTube.

Homeopathy!

Structured Journaling

Burn, tear up, or destroy your pages after!

Structured Activity

Batting cages, driving range, scream into a pillow, rage room.

Flower Essences

Bach, Alaskan, Australian flower essences.

Emotional Release Modalities

Emotion/BodyCode, MBSR, emotional clearings.

Fascia and Bodywork

Breathwork, Guided Imagery or Meditation

Check out the free Insight Timer app and @breathe_with_kimberly_rose to get started easily!

This is just a short list. I’d highly suggest finding an experienced EMDR-certified therapist to investigate if that modality would be a helpful way to influence your physical recovery as well.
